I'll bet you it will be. Its the only one i know of. At least people like Mr. Ridenhour are courageous enough to stand up against the people that are destroying our country from the inside out.

Tomcat is right on target. The people you see coming to these events have (for the most part) not attended such events before. Many admitted they did their part, voted and earned a living taking care of their families and communities.

The people I believe you are seeing are part of a vast silent majority written about in years past. Only now they will be much more visible and not so silent.

Our complacency, apathy or even just quiet demeanor is and must disappear so the leftist lunatic fringe attempting to corrupt this nation and world fail. And they will fail miserably because there are many more reasonable people than there are lunatics.

Obama did a great job (credit where credit due) in pursuading much of middle America he was not a radical. He lied. Many knew he was lying. Others wanted to believe. I do not fault them for that. I do fault the media for complicity and others for supporting the lie they knew or suspected was a lie.

That makes them propagandists, not journalists. They will never again have the credibility built over decades of hard work.

As for the rest of us, yes, this is a large grassroots movements of neighbors, relatives, friends and associates. We've met and we like who we see. We see ourselves in those who chose to speak. We heard our own thoughts in their words. And many are moderate, some conservative, most are fiscally conservative and the greatest number of us can agree to disagree on minor issues.

But on defense, the budget, and top priorities like health care we agree. And that must scare the living you-know-what out of the leftist liberals. Their agenda was doomed to fail, enacted or not. They live in theory-world, where things work in books but not in real life because you can never account for the inifinite variables of how people will act or react.

I say truly go with the flow and stop trying to co-opt and control the flow, because the flow is US, and we like what we see.

I agree. BTW- I just today enjoyed Carowinds. Hopefully Obama wont go there. He might like it and want to take it over.

Introducing: Obamawinds

But, i am curious, when is the next tea party? Labor day, thanksgiving?

After the last one, i cant believe Perdue wants to raise taxes even more!!

Its like liberalshear people complaining, like, in this case:

No more High Taxes.

Liberal mind translaton:

They're just people.  Who cares what THEY want?

I wanna see what Sarah Palin does.  If Palin can pull all the fractured grassroots folks together (which I personally hope is her plan), we're golden.  There will be a movement in this country that has not been seen in decades.  That's my 2 cents.

I'm a woman, and I personally don't think that she is ready for the presidency (has nothing to do with smarts).  But she has the star power to rally us all together and unite ... if that happens, then she left the AK governorship for all the right reasons.

I think there's a reason that Palin made this announcement now.  Breaking away from the governorship of AK gives her the freedom to rally the troops.  I think we're ready and we need leaders.

Leaders that are "real people" like us.  I'm tired of all the lawyers.  Aren't you?  They seem to be the only ones that want to wiggle around the constitution and the law of the land.
