We're doing something new for the Independence Day Tea Party: We're going to have County Coordinators who will be the Point of Contact for people in their county regarding the CIDTP. This will take some of the burden off of the Charlotte coordinators, plus it will be helpful to have someone local to coordinate with. Basic responsibilities of a County Coordinator: 1. Organize neighborhood canvassing events to spread the word 2. Organize sign making parties 3. Be the "face" of the CIDTP to people in your area 4. Encourage people to donate to the cause (these events cost money!) 5. Assist with getting people directions to the tea party, or maybe even bus everyone down to the event? Here's what we have and what we need: Mecklenburg County- We have lots of people in Meck who are helping out, however we could use someone in North Meck to spread the word up there. Any takers? I know about half of you don't live in Mecklenburg County, so here is a great way to volunteer and help out! | |

Union is now spoken for. Michelle Capiello will be heading the Union Co organization with the help of Beckey Farris. Michelle will be out of town until the 15th of June. Anyone in Union needing to get in touch with a local organizer, please contact Beckey at bfarris10@yahoo.com. | |
