There is a new forum sponsored out of Graham NC called "NC TEA Townhall Forum"

at  http://ncteatownhall.forumotion.com.  It's also a great place to learn and vent about events that concern and disturb you.  It covers everything from taxes, immigration,

cap and trade, the Constitution.  Come, take a look, and join with other NC citizens.

Not taking any of the importance away from Charlotte Tea Party, but just another place

to get informed about current issues happening in the state and national government.

GREAT information!  Thanks for passing it on!  If we're educating ourselves on the issues and working together than there's no need to fear "competition" from one another.

Those who are working diligently to make our government larger and more powerful have been organized for decades.  They work on many different fronts to assault what made this country great!  They are determined to chip away a little at a time.  One 1/2 cent tax raise at a time, one CEO at a time, one bank at a time, one step towards "Nationalism, Socialism"... call it what you will, at a time!

Can we do any less than take advantage of the information out there and stand up on many fronts to take back our government???

"Of the people, by the people, for the people" was not just a nice sentiment.  It was and remains the only way a republic can survive!

When the majority truly realizes how close we are to the precipice of losing all we've held dear, there will be no stopping us.

Yes, jbd. Great post. "Of the people, by the people and for the people and by the people". NOT "of the government, by the government and for the government."! The later quoted phrase is from Adrian Murray at the Apr. 15th Fort Worth TX Tea Party. Info, inspiration worth watching: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxoYhzF2phw&feature=related But that John Lewis delivers our message best. We could use more like him, with his knowledge, ideas and passion. (Wasn't he motivating?) Who are we? Autonomous individuals drawn together by the insult to our sensibilities of government encroachment on our liberties and individual rights. What do we want? Constitutional gov't peacefully restored to it's proper role. Defense of individual rights through police, American legal system and courts and foreign defense. Scratch the welfare state. Get out of dangerous economic and social meddling. Propagandistic government-controlled education system. I'm an American tired of being Sacrificed Enough Already! -- not just Taxed Enough Already. How about you? Are you ready for these tea parties to mark a real SEA change? I
