Charlotte Tea Party Headquarters

It is time for this area to organize for this event.  I am collecting emails for those who would like to partisipate in a sign making party and to carpool down to Charlotte on the 15th. 

Please respond if you would like to partisipate, we alreay have two.  Let me know if you want to host a get together or drive.  I will check regularly and post updates.

Debbie, I too would like to participate.  We are not far from Lake Norman, depending where on Lake Norman you are.  We are on the Hwy. 16 side, not far from Hwy 73.

I am not much of an artist, but I really want to do anything I can to help.  I can bring or bake food, too, or make lemonade, or whatever.  When would you and Diane U. like to meet?

Hey everyone!  I just sent Diane and Debbie an email with this link, but some awesome person who is a graphic artist made signs that can be printed out on 11x17 stock card for signs.  We can take these to staples and print them out then attach them to sticks.  We can also make our own, but this will make it a bit easier.  Here is the link for the signs.  They are really good!

We had our Lake Norman sign making party today!  Me, Diane, and Terry got together and made 7 signs.  They turned out GREAT!  We found some poster board at Staples that looks like a scroll, and they were perfect.  We also are having 21 signs printed at Staples that I will pick up next weekend.  These are from a graphic artist that posted them on Michelle Malkins website and said anyone could use them.  So total we have 28 signs that we can pass out on Tea Party day!  I can't wait!

Hello to all Tax/Bailout/TARP/Pork/Stimulus Protestors. I am wondering if anyone is doing any carpooling down from the Mooresville area? If so, shoot me a shout...maybe I can catch a ride?

I have a list of those interested in car pooling on the 15th.  I am thinking the best place to meet will be off exit 77 at exit 23.  There is a Food Lion parking lot that has space.  We need to determine what time we will need to leave to get there and have time to park.  I am not familiar with this area of Charlotte, some input here would be great.

Still interested. What time?

There are several volunteer drivers and people that want to carpool.  Lets all meet at the Food Lion parking lot at exit 23.  (exit 23, then go east, there is a dollar store, Tuesday Morning and Handcok Fabrics in the same shopping center). 

We will meet at 12:15, with the goal to leave by 12:30. 

My car is a dark red Mazda Tribute.

Please let me know if you will be there so we will know to wait for you.

Will there be extra signs at the party? I know it might be an issue due to logistics but it would be an idea if anyone is interested. Also, I have some extra 2X2X24 hardwood sticks if needed.
