I've got a "Don't Tread On Me" flag on order. I think it would be great to have a bunch of flags and signs out there! Historical flags, US flags, they're all more than welcome! Anyone have any good sign ideas? I've seen: "No taxation without disclosure" "Obama lied, my 401(k) died" I think Charlotte has a law that says protest signs much not have handles thicker than a quarter-inch. I'll verify and post back.

This is straight from the city ordinance regarding signs and placards at pickets and rallies: Written or printed placards or signs, flags, or banners carried by individuals engaged in picketing shall be of such a size and/or carried on the sidewalks or other city-owned areas, as to allow safe and unobstructed passage of pedestrian or vehicular traffic. The staff or pole on which a sign, flag, or banner may be carried shall be made of corrugated material, plastic, or wood, and shall not exceed 40 inches in length and shall not be made of metal or metal alloy. If made of wood, the staff or pole shallbe no greater than three-fourths inch in diameter at any point. A staff or pole must be blunt at both ends.

I am looking forward to the tea party! Does anyone think this uniform would make a point (the new and feared political direction) or it just too damn scary? Maybe others should take a good look at our possible future.

The site: http://www.united-states-flag.com/gadsden.html has Gadsen flags 12"x18" for $2.20 ea. Shipping is about the same. The Culpepper flag is larger and more expensive. I'm not certain what sizes fall into the guidelines.
