It is perhaps one of the poster children for egregious, out of control, in your face spending that we have on record today.  The Senate voted down a resolution stopping funds for Jack Murtha's private airport.  It is sad that the Senators have such little regard for the American People that they would continue to fund such useless private pet projects.

For the record, Richard Burr voted to stop funding - Kaye Hagen voted to continue funding.
